THE ESSENTIALS

To ensure a smooth transition for our kittens and prevent digestive upset, please continue their current feeding routine for at least one month after they arrive in their new home. This means maintaining their diet of Purrdine kitten wet food (our homemade recipe) and RC Mother and Babycat dry food. Sudden changes to their diet can lead to stomach discomfort, diarrhea, and dehydration.

The kittens are accustomed to using pine litter, and to avoid accidents, we recommend providing the same initially. If you prefer to switch to a different litter type, a gradual transition is best. Place two litter boxes side-by-side, one with pine litter and the other with your preferred litter. Sprinkle a small amount of used pine litter on top of the new litter to encourage the kittens to explore it. Once they are consistently using the new litter, you can remove the pine litter.
